Kevin de Bruyne has completed his move to Napoli after leaving Manchester City. The 33-year-old is widely recognised as one of Man City’s greatest ever players after making 422 appearances for the English club. De Bruyne’s incredible technical skillset and vision cemented his reputation as one of the best midfielders of his generation.
But despite scoring 108 goals and 177 assists for City, De Bruyne wasn’t offered a new contract after a decade in Manchester. The Belgian international was strongly linked with a move to the MLS but he decided to join Napoli. De Bruyne was met by thousands of ecstatic supporters when he landed in Naples and it’s understood that he has penned a two-year contract with an option of a further year. Antonio Conte has bolstered his midfield options with the signature of De Bruyne after winning the Serie A title last season with former Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay prominent.
