Kajol’s movie Maa has seen a slower Box Office opening as compared to the original film, Shaitaan. The movie released in the midst of Aamir Khan’s Bollywood comeback film Sitaare Zameen Par still pinning hopes from Box Office numbers. Although the latter has crossed Rs. 100 crore club, Maa has earned a below par Box Office number over weekend.

Ajay Devgn-R. Madhavan’s Shaitaan made splash at the Box Office right from its opening day. The movie had earned Rs. 14.75 crore on day 1 of its release. Maa, on the other hand, minted only 1/3rd of that.
