Confirmed team news from the London Stadium

West Ham will hope to bounce back from last week’s heavy defeat at Sunderland when they host London rivals Chelsea tonight.

It was a disappointing start to the season for the Hammers as they were swept aside 3-0 by the newly promoted Wearsiders.

The pressure is already growing on boss Graham Potter and he would have arguably chosen different opponents than world champions Chelsea.

Enzo Maresca’s men are also searching for their first win after being held to a goalless draw at home to Crystal Palace last Sunday.

    West Ham Team News

Despite last weekend’s poor showing, Potter makes just one change to his starting XI with experienced midfielder Tomas Soucek replacing Guido Rodriguez in midfield.

West Ham: Hermansen; Wan-Bissaka, Diouf, Todibo, Kilman, Aguerd; Ward-Prowse, Soucek, Paqueta, Bowen; Fullkrug
Subs: Areola, Walker-Peters, Mavropanos, Scarles, Rodriguez, Irving, Potts, Wilson, Marshall

    Chelsea Team News

Maresca makes three changes to the side that drew with Palace.

Liam Delap makes his first Premier League start for the club and will spearhead the attack with Joao Pedro playing slightly deeper.

Tosin Adarabioyo returns from injury in place of Josh Acheampong while Malo Gusto starts at right-back ahead of Reece James.

Chelsea: Sanchez, Gusto, Tosin, Chalobah, Cucurella, Caicedo, Fernandez, Neto, Palmer, Joao Pedro, Delap
Subs: Jorgensen, James, Fofana, Acheampong, Hato, Essugo, Andrey Santos, Estevao Willian, Gittens
