Excitement is building for Dhurandhar, the massive new action thriller directed by Aditya Dhar. For fans eagerly waiting for a glimpse of the movie, there’s a major update. The official trailer for the Ranveer Singh starrer has now been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
The film, which features a huge star cast, has been in the news ever since its first look was released on Ranveer Singh’s birthday. Now, with the trailer ready for release, the promotional campaign is expected to kick off very soon.
All About The Dhurandhar Trailer
According to the official CBFC website, the trailer for Dhurandhar was certified on August 22 with a U/A rating. The total runtime of the trailer is 2 minutes and 42 seconds, promising a substantial look into the film’s high-octane world. While the producers have not yet announced the official release date for the trailer, this certification is a clear sign that it will be dropping for audiences in the near future.
The film has been described as a high-stakes espionage saga inspired by real-life covert operations. There has also been strong speculation that the story is based on the life of India’s former National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval, though the makers have remained silent on this rumor.
An Update From The Sets In Leh
Recently, there were some concerns after reports emerged of crew members falling ill on the film’s set in Leh. However, a source close to the production has clarified the situation, stating that the incident was due to a “local contamination issue” and not because of any cost-cutting or poor food quality. The source emphasized that the crew’s health and safety are top priorities.
Shooting for the film has already resumed with extra precautions in place. The production is currently in its final stages, with a source revealing, “We have another few weeks of shoot left here. We will wrap and be back in Mumbai by mid-September.”
