There were many reports suggesting that he had signed a multi-film deal with Yash Raj Films, which could include a solo spy movie. However, recent updates have clarified the actor’s immediate schedule, confirming that his next projects were decided long ago.
No Change In The Original Plan
While a future film with YRF is possible, sources have confirmed that Jr NTR’s upcoming slate remains exactly as it was planned before War 2. Reports suggesting a delay in a potential YRF solo film are incorrect, as the actor’s next two films were already locked in.
An independent industry source stated, “Post War 2, Jr NTR was always supposed to start work on his next film with Prashanth Neel, followed by Devara 2, and the development remains the same. The team is gearing up, and the preparations are already underway.” This makes it clear that his current commitments are part of a pre-planned schedule.
A Power-Packed Film With Prashanth Neel
First in the lineup is the highly anticipated collaboration with director Prashanth Neel, the man behind massive blockbusters like the KGF series and Salaar. Tentatively titled Dragon, this film is expected to be a high-voltage action entertainer. The combination of Jr NTR’s powerful screen presence and Prashanth Neel’s grand vision for action has made this one of the most awaited pan-India projects. The Next Chapter: Devara 2
Following the film with Prashanth Neel, Jr NTR will return to the world of his epic action-drama, Devara 2. The first part, Devara: Part 1, which was directed by Koratala Siva and also starred Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, set up a massive story in a coastal setting.
