As he prepares to head back to Kansas City for mandatory minicamp with the Chiefs, Travis Kelce enjoyed a bit more fun in the sun down in Florida.
Kelce, 35, hit the links with some friends for a round of golf at the Fort Lauderdale Country Club on Wednesday, June 11.
The tight end is expected to report to Chiefs minicamp next week, which runs from June 17-19.
Kelce has spent a large part of his offseason training in Florida since announcing plans to return for a 13th NFL season in February.

Kelce has often been joined in the Sunshine State by his girlfriend, Taylor Swift. Earlier this month, a source exclusively told Us Weekly how the change of pace has been good for the couple.

“Florida has been the perfect escape for them,” the insider shared.
While Swift, 35, has still been spending a lot of time in New York City, the source said she has been “coming and going to Florida.”
A second source added, “[Taylor] is trying to spend as much time with him as she can by going to Boca. They are doing stuff separately out of necessity because of his training, but when they find time to connect, it’s intentional and meaningful.”
The couple has largely stayed out of the public eye during their time in down south, but they have been spotted out on a couple of date nights.

Last month, Kelce and Swift were seen having dinner at Harry’s restaurant in West Palm Beach. The twosome later wore matching black ensembles for a dinner date at an unknown restaurant in Florida on June 4.
The football star is preparing to officially return to work on the gridiron, a decision largely based on the “bad taste in my mouth” after the Chiefs’ loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX in February.
“I think the biggest thing is that I f***ing love playing the game of football,” Kelce said on his “New Heights” podcast in March. “I love playing, I still feel like I can play at a high level. And possibly at a higher level than I did last year, I don’t think it was my best outing. I let my guys down in a lot more moments than I helped them, especially if you look at my track record and how I’ve been in years past. I just, you know, I wanna give it a good run.”
After mandatory minicamp next week, Chiefs’ training camp is expected to open in mid-to-late July.
Kansas City travels to São Paulo, Brazil to open the regular season against the Los Angeles Chargers on September 5.
