    Arsenal will hope to join north London rivals Tottenham at the top of the early Premier League table when they host Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium.

    Both Arsenal and Leeds enjoyed 1-0 wins to start the season, beating Manchester United and Everton respectively.

    The Gunners will be favourites to continue their 100 percent start, having seen Spurs make it two wins from two with a stunning 2-0 victory at Manchester City.

    Arteta has made two changes from the side that prevailed at Old Trafford.

    Noni Madueke makes his first start for the club, replacing Gabriel Martinelli.

    At the back, Jurrien Timber comes in for the injured Ben White, while midfielder and captain Martin Odegaard makes his 200th appearance for Arsenal.

    Fifteen-year-old Max Dowman, who impressed for Arsenal in pre-season, is named among the substitutes.

    Arsenal: Raya, Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori, Zubimendi, Rice, Odegaard, Saka, Madueke, Gyokeres. 

    Subs: Arrizabalaga, Lewis-Skelly, Mosquera, Kiwior, Merino, Nwaneri, Dowman, Martinelli, Trossard.

    Leeds United team news

    Leeds manager Daniel Farke has makes just one enforced change, having seen captain Ethan Ampadu forced off with a knee injury against Everton.

    Ilia Gruev comes in for the skipper, with Pascal Struijk taking the armband in Ampadu’s stead.

    Noah Okafor, signed from AC Milan this week, is on the bench. There is no place in the squad for striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

    Leeds: Perri, Bogle, Rodon, Struijk, Gudmundsson, Gruev, Stach, Tanaka, James, Gnonto, Piroe. 

    Subs: Darlow, Bijol, Byram, Bornauw, Longstaff, Aaronson, Harrison, Okarfor, Nmecha.
