The Ba**ds of Bollywood is a forthcoming Netflix original series produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, and Aryan Khan, the son of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, is all set to make his directorial debut. The superstar officially confirmed the show’s title at an event in Mumbai earlier this year.
Even though Netflix hasn’t revealed when the show will stream, fans are getting increasingly excited since on August 20, the streaming service will host a special event in Mumbai to unveil the series’ first look.

‘An ambitious outsider and his pals negotiate the larger-than-life yet uncertain world of Bollywood,’ reads the synopsis of the series, which is billed as a bold take on the inner workings of the Hindi film business. With its blend of self-aware comedy and high-stakes storytelling, the series guarantees an exciting journey into the world of Indian cinema, as well as a slew of memorable cameos and blockbuster thrills.
The makers of the show disclosed in a statement that behind the glamour of Bollywood lies a world just as dramatic as the films themselves—and that is where the Netflix series, The BA***DS of Bollywood, begins. All the glamour, mayhem, and high stakes of a dream-based industry are explored in this series from the unique perspective of Aryan Khan. The partnership between Red Chillies Entertainment and Netflix brings to life a story that aligns with the studio’s reputation for daring and exciting films. They can’t wait for audiences to experience the adventure with them.
Star studded cameos
According to insiders in the industry, Aryan will probably avoid public promotions and marketing efforts so that the show can do the talking. The cast remains a mystery, but you may have heard that Bobby Deol and Mona Singh lead the cast. There have been rumblings that other famous names, including Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, and Ranveer Singh, will be making special appearances.
