Appearing as a guest on Sky Calciomercato – L’Originale, former Roma defender Aldair fondly recalled his time in the Italian capital, where he played from 1990 to 2003.
The Brazilian legend, who wore the Giallorossi shirt for over a decade, spoke emotionally about the 2001 Scudetto and his enduring connection with Roma supporters.
“So many years have passed since the 2001 Scudetto, but every time I come back to Rome, I still feel the affection of the fans,” Aldair said. “The Rome derby is nothing like the ones in Brazil — it’s much more intense.”
During the show, the Brazilian also took part in a fun rapid-fire Q&A segment.
