Leeds United have completed the signing of defender James Justin from Leicester City.
The 27-year-old has signed a four-year deal at Elland Road, becoming Leeds’ 10th signing of the transfer window following promotion from the Premier League.
Justin, who can play as a right-back and a left-back, bolsters a defence that shipped five goals in Saturday’s defeat to Arsenal.
He made 168 appearances for the Foxes, 99 coming in the Premier League.
“It’s been a while since I’ve known of the interest, but obviously I was still a Leicester player, so I had to give my all for Leicester whilst I was there,” Justin told the club’s official website.
“That’s something obviously that you can expect from me when I put on a Leeds shirt, is to give my all when I’m on the pitch. But for it to finally have happened, it’s taken a weight off my shoulders for sure.
“Everyone that I’ve spoken to about the club and the area has had great things to say about it. So I’m excited to join the lads and get to work.
“The stadium has obviously got one of the best atmospheres in world football.
“And it’s always a daunting task to come here as an opposing team, but I’m happy to have the fans behind me this time.
“Hopefully I can put on the shirt in front of the fans and show them what I can do, if selected, and hopefully I can train up until then to get myself ready as possible.”
