The wait is almost over for the much-talked-about film, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. The cast and crew have officially wrapped up the shooting for the romantic entertainer. Lead actor Varun Dhawan took to social media to share the exciting news with a series of fun photos and videos from the set, alongside co-star Janhvi Kapoor, director Shashank Khaitan, and the rest of the ensemble cast. The film is locked in for a theatrical release on October 2.
Varun Dhawan Announces “Main Phir Se Aa Raha Hoon”
In a cheerful Instagram post, Varun Dhawan announced the wrap-up to his fans. He wrote, “SUNNY SANSKARI KI TULSI KUMARI is done!!! Mein phir se aa raha hoon @shashankkhaitan ki direction mein…oct 2nd.” His message showed his excitement about reuniting with his frequent collaborator, director Shashank Khaitan. Adding to the fun, his co-star Janhvi Kapoor dropped a playful comment on the post, writing, “Mera sunny sabse sanskari,” hinting at their great on-screen chemistry.
A Fun Wrap Celebration
The celebration was echoed by the entire team. Janhvi, along with co-stars Rohit Saraf and Sanya Malhotra, put up a joint post promising a fun-filled ride for the audience. “We had too much fun making this, and you’re going to have too much fun watching it,” they wrote, urging fans to mark their calendars for the October 2 release. The cast shared a group photo where they were all seen wearing their character t-shirts in front of a banner that humorously read, “It’s a wrap, almost,” showing the light-hearted atmosphere of the film’s production.
A “Joint Family Experience” On Set
Actor Akshay Oberoi, who plays a key role in the film, described the shooting experience as wonderful. He called the energetic atmosphere on set a “fun joint family experience” and said that collaborating with Varun, Janhvi, Sanya, and Rohit was an “absolute joy.” He also expressed his confidence in the project, noting that with Karan Johar producing and Shashank Khaitan directing, the film is guaranteed to be “filled with heart, laughter, and entertainment.”
Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari marks the second film where Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor will be seen together, following their 2023 movie Bawaal. Fans are excited to see them together again in this big-scale family entertainer.
