As reported by Dennis Bayer, VfL Wolfsburg ace Tiago Tomás is in talks with VfB Stuttgart regarding a possible return to the club.

Tomás has been a part of the Auto Elf for the past two seasons, following a previous two-season spell with Stuttgart between 2021 and 2023.

During his time with Wolfsburg, Tomás has played 65 times across all domestic competitions. The 23-year-old forward had his best season with VfL last term, scoring six goals and providing two assists from 32 appearances.

Talks between Wolfsburg and Stuttgart are currently ongoing, with a possible €10m fee being negotiated.

In total, Tomás has made over 100 Bundesliga appearances during his career. The versatile forward is admired by Sebastian Hoeneß, who wants the deal to be finalised.

Stuttgart’s season officially kicks off on August 15th as the Swabians host Bayern Munich in the Franz Beckenbauer Super Cup.

After that, their Bundesliga campaign starts in the capital against Union Berlin on August 23rd.
