The much awaited trailer of Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor starrer Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is finally out. The romantic drama will mark the silver screen debut of Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya. Directed by Santosh Singh, the film will hit the big screen on July 11.
While sharing the trailer on social media, Zee Studios wrote, “In a world full of perfect love stories, @shanayakapoor02 and @vikrantmassey are bringing you one filled with Gustaakhiyan. #AankhonKiGustaakhiyan Trailer Out Now. Come feel the love on 11th July in cinemas near you.”

In Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, Shanaya Kapoor plays Saba, a visually impaired theatre artist, while Vikrant takes on the role of Jahaan, a blind musician. Inspired by Ruskin Bond’s beloved short story The Eyes Have It, the film promises a poignant love story, following the couple’s emotional journey through life’s highs and lows. The trailer ends on a cliffhanger, with no clear answers about Jahaan and Saba’s destiny. Shanya-Vikrant’s chemistry and Vishal Mishra’s musical score stand out in the intriguing trailer.
Talking about her experience of working in Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan, Shanaya Kapoor said in a statement, “Playing this role has been the most beautiful and challenging experience of my life. I couldn’t have asked for a better debut. Working with Vikrant has been such a learning experience – he’s been so supportive throughout. And Santosh sir is truly a dream director – gentle, clear in his vision, and always encouraging. I’m nervous, of course, but mostly very excited for people to see this my first film which is and always be closest to my heart.”
She added, “This film has been an incredibly emotional journey for me. Being on set with such an amazing director, Santosh sir, and a talented cast like Vikrant made it all the more special — their support and energy brought so much heart to the process.”
